This week I decided to bring it back to one of my favorite shots. As a photographer, there's nothing better than capturing an image that requires almost no editing, and this is one of those instances. I've completed the hike where I captured this shot in Rocky Mountain National Park more than I've done any other hike in my life. The trail in itself feels sentimental, as it was the first and last hike I've done in Colorado with many other instances sprinkled in between. It hasn't been all hikes though - one of my first mountaineering experiences was climbing the Dragontail Couloir which is the snowy channel on the right side of this shot. That was my final excursion as a resident of Colorado and will forever hold a special place in my heart. In addition, this shot has been requested by several folks as a print and so far it's my favorite on paper. Get yourself one!
